LIKE NEW. The mattress itself is about 4 inches thick. There is also a rubber cushion mat underneath the mattress as well for extra comfort that also comes with it. There is about 30 different variety of pillows that comes with it as well. I put this in a room that I created and called a pillow room basically it could be used if you wanna have a meditation room a quiet room. Or maybe at an area in your home, there’s no limit on creativity. You can also put a beautiful canopy curtain design on the ceiling to block it off.
