Cradles provided are for the iPod Classic 160GB (2007), iPod video 60 and 80GB (2005), the original iPod Touch (2007), second generation iPod Touch (2008), fourth generation iPod Nano (2007) and fifth generation iPod Nano (2008). I like the ease of operation. The interface on this is very simple, with only four buttons for controls--power, volume up, and volume down, "treble" and "bass" buttons. It has the option to plug in other devices using 1/8" audio cables. The sound is clear and volume is loud enough for a good-sized room. Truely portable. My friend is using similar unit in a very big classroom. Nice big sound. All the kids can hear. I would recommend to all teachers. Particularly if you have limited space. It's also a great option if you own an older iPod for which the battery is no longer holding a charge, as the unit does provide power to an iPod while playing.
