3.5 inch jaws Very useful swivel jaw feature Allows you to clamp down on angeled, odd shaped objects. Watch video ( posted on marketplace) Also features plunger style " quick release, quick engaging, system to swivel the vise. Pull up the the plunger, spin the vise, plunger drops down in a number of machined holes that plunger drops down in to and automatically locks in. Also on video Very nice feature. The last pic shows what the machine drilled factory holes look like. The pictured bottom plate is from a bigger Prentiss but this #19 uses same design Rest of the vise is standard stuff 3 1/2 inch jaws. Opens at least 5 inches. Works great.
