I recently replaced my old speakers as one of these started to become a little muffled. There are some particles in the speaker, which I’m sure if you wanna take the time you can clean out and it will sound like new again however I am a wasteful idiot and I just replaced the speakers and no longer need these backstory as I redid my roof and some of the particles fell into the speakers when they redid the roof and ripped off the shingles I dusted it off with an air canister that improved slightly, but I think you need to take the speaker apart and I am not savvy enough to deal with this so selling it now.
