Vintage Radio Shack Realistic Optimus 9 Speakers

Vintage Radio Shack Realistic Optimus 9 Speakers still in good working condition. The top of the speakers seems to have a little water damage on them from things being set ontop of them. I tried to clean it up the best I could. The speakers themselves still work great though and overall the box is in decent condition. They don't make speakers like this anymore. Predecessor to the Mach one Model 4024A, the Optimus 9 is a 3 way 5 speaker system uniquely designed with three matched 2.5" midrange drivers, top mounted with rear cabinet direct reflective open back ports that allow for rear radiation of the mid range frequencies for maximum sound dispersion. The 1.5" dome tweeter is center mounted in a protective lens, and the 12" acoustic suspension woofer has a very heavy magnet, cast aluminum basket, brass voice coil, and butyl rubber surrounds that never need rebuilt. ou can vary the sound of these speakers through placement. The dimensions are 28" H X 19" W X 9" D and they weigh 43 LBS each. Compairable models go for around $300 on eBay after shipping. While the body isn't in quite as good condition you can have the same sound for a fraction of the price. Asking for $80 for the pair. Willing to deliver locally for an extra $20.
