Stock clamp screws gave me trouble tightening down but I always used it on rods with reel seats. Loaded with izor #65 braid , ready for top shot. I used it for rockfish , yoyo or live bait sinker rig for yellowtail and tuna 40-60lb line. Never used it for trolling. Great as a backup rig or extra for local offshore fishing or bottom fishing.
