1979 16ft Vintage Retro Checkmate Trimate III. Ski boat

1979 Checkmate Trimate III with trailer and 140hp Evinrude. Great ski boat with tons of memories but simply too small for us now. The floor was redone just prior to us owning it. The interior is nice and the vinyl good but the vinyl has split along the seams, this may be fixable if you have sewing skills. The reason we are selling so cheap is the engine quit last season, no clue as to whats wrong with it. We bought a pontoon boat so there's no reason to put more money into it determining the problem or fixing it, I'd rather just sell it as-is. This is a ridiculously cool and stylish boat and gets compliments every time we take it out. "Hey man, how much was that custom paint job, $10k?" Nope, that's just original 1979! You get yourself an 8-track of Saturday Night Fever, some short shorts and you're time travelin to the disco era, who doesn't want that? No trades, but negotiable on price.
