I came in with my friend to test drive two used Toyota Corollas. My salesperson Ryan was very friendly and personable. I expressed that I had seen one of the cars advertised online for $17,600, but in store it was changed to $18,300. Ryan was open to hearing out my concerns about this price change and willing to consider it in negotiations. However, my experience changed when the closer Branden came in. He quoted ~$400 monthly payment for 75 MONTHS with $6000 downpayment. This was obviously wrong to me because the car was supposed to be $18,xxx before taxes and fees. When I asked for a broken down estimate, there was more than $7,000 worth of hidden fees, making the out the door price $28,000. I understand that many dealerships try to make money on extras, but $7,000+ worth of junk fees is extreme. I tried to negotiate them off, but they expressed they had purchased the vehicle for $19,xxx, so without the fees the dealership would lose money. This dealership seems very dishonest, and I would be turned off of purchasing from here even with a good price. My first red flag should have been that fact that they don’t offer quotes over the phone. Many other dealerships will give you an itemized estimate prior to an appointment.

The Team at Hyundai El Cajon went above and beyond to help me and my family find a perfect car. David took the time to listen to our concerns and worked diligently to make sure this vehicle was perfect for us. Darius answered all our questions when it came to financing and insurance. We got an AMAZING rate on a new 2025 Hyundai Elantra! Lindsey made sure explain all the features to us and checked in on us to make sure we are still enjoying the vehicle. Overall shopping at Hyundai El Cajon was a great experience when it came to working with these three amazing individuals! We will definitely recommend to friends and family! Jordan was one of the 1st members of sales team we met.  Wonderful guy, gave us the 1st test drive in the SUV we bought.
Ryan was our sales team member who helped us throughout the process.  Showed us our vehicle, gave us another chance for an extended test drive and went over many of the vehicles options.  He facilitated the numbers along with Brendan, one of the managers to make the whole financing portion a breeze.  Communication was never ending with Ryan.
Brendon and Ryan really made the shopping process a breeze and we felt welcomed and never rushed or pressured one bit.  A special shout to Darius in Financing.   He explained every single piece of paper, helped us make it through that portion with any questions asked, answered immediately and with enthusiasm. Lindsey in customer service really helped me out too.  Had a few situations that she facilitated and took care of and made things happen.
Because of the easy going and overall great  experience we had with these fine people and the whole dealership, we would definitely go back there to get our next vehicle as well.

Wonderful experience! I was greeted and taken right to the vehicle I wanted to see by Chris who was terrific through the entire experience. We worked through a great deal with the assistance of his manager Christian who was also great. The entire experience didn't take more than an hour in and out and not once did my wife and I have to wait on anything. The dealership itself is state of the art, brand new with a great selection of coffee and tea. Just an awesome experience overall. Highly recommend l!

I had an amazing experience at Hyundai of El Cajon! Zeus did a fantastic job getting me all squared away. From the moment he first approached me, I knew that I was in good hands. He is a great man.
I also loved the lounge area. I got to watch The Dog Whisperer while enjoying a nice cup of tea.
