Description

If you are seeing this ad, the bike is still available. Over $8K went into this build. Only top shelf components. Near mint condition. Size L. Needs nothing. This thing is a beast and one of the best bikes I have ever had the luck to ride. Reason for selling (some people ask): with a small kid on my hands, I don’t have the time to ride as much anymore. Details below: Frame: Evil Undead, Size L (~ $3,500) • High-pressure molded unidirectional carbon frame • 203mm (8-inches) rear travel • Adjustable bottom bracket height via the flip-chip DELTA system linkage and high-load spherical Enduro bearing (this system + the head angle tweak below is pure genius: allows for adjusting the geometry of the bike without necessitating suspension settings adjustment) • Adjustable head angle via keyed-in Evil headset • Integrated fork bumpers and cable guides • Integrated removable downtube and shuttle bash guards • Integrated removable carbon rear fender • Rotor, chain-ring, and chain-slap guards are metal, not plastic • 150mm x 12mm rear thru axle and replaceable rear dropouts • 83mm bottom-bracket Suspension: Fox 40 Factory Kashima fork (~ $1,800) and 9.5 x 3.0-inch Fox DHX RC4 Factory Kashima rear shock (~ $400) Groupset: Full Shimano Saint M820 setup (4-piston hydraulic brakes, rotors with ICE tech and radiator fins, shift levers, integration units, rear derailleur, crank set, 83mm BB, cables, etc.) (~ $2000) Touchpoints: Pro Handlebar, Fox Transfer Factory Kashima dropper post (150mm travel) with a remote Wolftooth lever (~$400 for the combo) Wheels: Shimano Saint hubs front and rear, pretty sure rims are WTB Frequency Team edition (I got rid of the funny stickers to keep the black look), wrapped in Continental der Kaiser Projekt 2.4s Full price offer may also get a bunch of goodies if desired, including the Shimano clipless pedals in the picture, a Pro seat, a brand new spare WTB rim, an extra set of mud tires, and some spare parts. Willing to go a bit lower on price if you want to swap the dropper post for a set Pro post (e.g. go for the full Pro treatment of bar, post, and seat).
