Selling my 2006 Toyota Tacoma Base Model (RWD) with 156k miles. This truck has been rock-solid and is perfect for commuting, camping, work, or as a light project for someone mechanically inclined. It has some great extras and a few quirks that I’ve priced in. ⸻ ⭐ Features & Highlights • 156,xxx miles – strong drivetrain, classic Tacoma reliability • SnugTop camper shell – clean, insulated, lockable, great for storage/camping • BF Goodrich KO2s – about 4 years old (one tire does need replacement) • Aftermarket Apple CarPlay / Android Auto • Uses old Lightning connector currently, can switch to USB-C for you • Volume-down button doesn’t work • Electric locks + remote unlock • Viper alarm system • Clicker works but drains its battery fast & gets warm → likely needs new remote • Aftermarket grille for an updated look ⸻ 🔧 Condition / Known Quirks I want to be completely transparent so buyers know exactly what they’re getting: • Intermittent rubbing sound at low-speed turns (not diagnosed yet) • Gas gauge works intermittently • One KO2 tire needs replacement • Viper alarm remote drains the clicker remote’s battery quickly • Volume-down button on stereo doesn’t work, starts at a low level and can be turned up, resets after you turn the car off so it’s still usable for me daily driving • Minor fender bender in past, professionally repaired — you can’t tell anything ever happened. Have paperwork. • Early clear-coat delamination on roof, still looks better than most Tacomas of this age Truck runs and drives reliably and has been my solid daily. ⸻ 💬 Why I’m Selling Just moving to something different.
