Brand new, hand made, Chesapeake Light Craft Teardrop trailer for sale. Built on a custom Trailex SUT-1000-CLC Flathead Trailer, this stitch and glue teardrop camper is so lightweight you can pull it to your adventure destinations with a Mini Cooper. The camper itself is 5’ x 8’ with an internal space designed for a 60” x 80” mattress (roughly a queen) and includes 4 mushroom vents, a 15” hatch vent/fan combo unit, and a kitchen galley shelving unit. Rough weight of the full unit ~500lbs. These campers are made with quarter inch plywood, then fiberglassed and epoxied. Using the stitch and glue process, they are both exceptionally lightweight and rigid. With no screws outside of the hardware, these are easy to maintain longterm and easy to keep clean generally (window cleaner works best on epoxy based paint).
