SELLING THIS STATUESQUE PAIR OF HAVEN ARMCHAIRS BY MARK GABBERTAS FOR ALLERMUIR. IT IS AN EYE CATCHING PAIR FEATURING A SQUARE BOX DESIGN WITH LIGHT AND DARK SHADES OF GRAY UPHOLSTERY. THIS IS A PERFECT PAIR FOR HOME, STUDIO OR OFFICE. CURRENT RETAIL PRICE IS $1595 PER CHAIR. CONDITION IS VERY GOOD. (NOTE DARKER AREAS ON PHOTOS ARE DUE TO LIGHTING) THEY MEASURE 46” TALL, 41” WIDE, 30” DEEP, 17” SEAT. Gabbertas was born in Yorkshire in 1962, an‹ graduated from Durham University with a degree ir political philosophy. Following an 8-year stint at tr advertising agency, Saatchi and Saatchi, in 1990 h left advertising to train as a cabinet-maker. Initially was as an apprentice with Codrington Furniture an then with Stemmer and Sharp at Oblique workshor Hackney as a junior maker. He set up on his own after two years training and embarked on the well-trodden path of the designe maker. Initially commissions were for private client but briefs from larger commercial organisations increased in number and became the focus of the workshop. Mark Gabbertas was at the forefront of the renaiss in British design in the 1990's, especially the rise the self-production designer. A number of retail ou carried his work including Purves and Purves and Furniture Union. In 2002, he established Studio Gabbertas in West London. PICKUP IN POMPANO BEACH.
