BRAND NEW NEVER SLEPT ON. Any marks you see are factory marks not damaged marks. It gives the bed character. I 100% mean it, the bed was bought brand new and my girls never wanted to sleep on the bunk beds. What can one do? My loss is your gain. Very sturdy not a cheap IKEA stuff. You can also use as two beds in different rooms if need be. It’s very nice, clean and zero scratches.
