Description

SALE! Marked down from $800!! A very rare pre -WWII Adolf Hitler desk top bronze bust. This is a fantastic example, one of the best of the few surviving I have ever seen. It is a period cast of the original sculpture by Ferdinand Liebermann. The total height is approximately 9”. Ferdinand Liebermann was a German sculptor born on January 15th, 1885 and died in Munich on November 28th, 1941. He received a large number of state contracts from Adolf Hitler because Hitler held him in high regard. One of his busts of Hitler adorned the Munich City Hall. His busts of Hitler are considered to be the most expressive, sought-after and desirable. An absolutely beautiful example in excellent vintage condition.
