Description
I've had these two Spectra 112 amps for many years and they've always worked fine, but recently, the Dean Markley 112A model started cutting out. I opened it up to clean out the pots, but it seems something on the circuit board has gone out as the chassis gets extremely hot now. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I don't have time to repair it. All parts are present and included. The JMF 112 model, which is the original model before Dean Markley bought the company and put the amp out under their own name, still works and sounds great. Both amps are identical to my knowledge and said to be about 40 watts (solid state) into a stock 10" speaker at either 4 or 8 ohms (I am not sure.) These amps are from the late '70s or early '80s. Both amps shows signs of use and storage with some rubs on the tolex and a little rust on some hardware, but nothing major and should clean up nicely, if someone wants to take the time. These are really nice combo amps and the pair together sound great, especially in stereo. From a smoke free home. $100 cash (firm) for both amps. I will consider trades for other music gear, but prefer cash, pedals or mics. Located in FORT WORTH. IF THIS AD IS STILL POSTED, THEN THESE ARE STILL AVAILABLE.
