Vintage Pyrex #19 Oval Casserole Dish w/ 9 45C 33 Lid, Early American Brown 1- 1/2 Quart, Spacesaver Divided Serving / Baking Dish. Piece measures 13" long x 8.75" wide x 3" deep x 3.25 high w/lid on it. In excellent condition. This item was part of my Aunt's vast and eclectic collection and Estate that I am currently liquidating.  Shipped with UPS Ground. Date Introduced 1962 Manufactured dates 1962 to 1971 Designer Philip Johnson (possibly) Interesting Facts Early American was advertised at the “theme of the decade.” Early American was the first pattern printed in 22-karat gold. Early American is one of the longest running PYREX patterns. The same pattern was released in Canada, but was called Early Canadian. Description Early American was touted as “the most popular decorating theme of the decade.” A September 1962 article in Home for Daily read “Available after Oct. 15, the four-piece set will become a permanent item in the Pyrex line. Retail price is $4.95. The Early American decoration is in Colonial brown and 22-karat gold.” Early American was a resounding success, lasting for nearly a decade before it was discontinued in 1971.
