MCM Indiana Desk Company Desk

A rare find in this vintage Indiana desk company dutch style desk. Brass handles and brass tipped legs. Lots of character and space, light and easy to move. Standing 29.5 inches tall, 42 inches long and 30 inches wide. The Indiana desk company founded in 1905, began as Jasper Novelty works. Early manufacturing at the Jasper Novelty Works focused on creating desks of all styles and purposes. The quality and variety of the company’s desks became highly respected throughout the nation. The company officially changed their name to Indiana Desk Company in 1929. During World War II and the metal shortage, Indiana Desk played their part by manufacturing desks as well as filing cabinets for the war effort. The company now goes by Jasper furniture company, specializing in office furniture(desks and such).
