Description

This vintage Incolay Studios collector plate entitled "She Walks in Beauty" by Gayle Bright Appleby is the first in a series of limited-edition plates. Handcrafted with solid incolay stone, this edition of plates has since permanently closed in 1977 and is a part of the Romantic Poets series (poem by Lord Byron). There is a brass plate on the back that allows for hanging. The handcrafting process involves layering different colored minerals and coupling agents, and the white artwork is hand-fused with these variegated layers, making each piece unique and a great addition to any collector’s collection.
