My mom says she bought this necklace in Romania in 1970’s. I was unable to determine the materials it was made of, but it looks like brass to me. The coins have symbols and writings on them, but nothing I can recognize. The main wire is firm and the simple hook closure is surprisingly reliable, the wire bounces back after you hook it closed and stays securely closed till u manually open it up again. It is more of a choker length, though rather low, goes down past my collar bone. Will ship to any state or can be picked up from Rockaway Beach.
