Grasshopper" Highback Armchair Dated 1951. This chair is a treasure! Refurbished This chair is not only by a famous designer but one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in. It was originally owned by my dad...who was the Associate Dean of the UO architecture department. His fist job was in Texas...Modernism was HOT. He did the structure for the Johnson and Johnson building, which was complete with Tulip Tables. Lol. (Also by Saarinen!) These chairs go for $3500. But I would let it go for $2225. Would love to see it go before Xmas! Must pick up yourself.
