Hand planed and inlaid woods are rubbed and polished to a mellow patina. A pierced “X” stretcher, centered by a finial, supports turned legs surmounted by a top with a single locking drawer and canted corners. Perfectly suitable as an end table, bedside table or set between two chairs in a conversation area. David Jøsephson designs in a style which encompasses a scholarly curiosity, a collectors curatorial vision, and a passion for beauty. Having graduated with a Master's from Columbia University in NYC and having attended École Camondo in Paris and The Institute of Classical Architecture and Art in NY, David is a classically trained designer who has designed pieces and/or collections for Baker Furniture, Chaddock, John Widdicomb, Swaim as well as collaborated with premier European artisans, studios and celebrated interior designers.
