Hand planed and inlaid woods are rubbed and polished to a mellow patina. A pierced “X” stretcher, centered by a finial, supports turned legs surmounted by a top with a single locking drawer and canted corners. Perfectly suitable as an end table, bedside table or set between two chairs in a conversation area. David Jøsephson designs in a style which encompasses a scholarly curiosity, a collectors curatorial vision, and a passion for beauty.
