1990 Eagle Talon TSI - For Sale - $6775 OBO I have for sale my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI with 75,000 miles. I purchased this in September of 2021 as a non-runner and it has since been through a lot of work. The work on the car was performed by Evolved Performance out of Big Rock, Illinois. The Talon currently runs and drives, however the Bullseye turbo that was on the vehicle did have the seals blow and is temporarily replaced with a “Rev9 Big Wheel 20G. A well known turbo builder (Justin Whitesell) in the DSM community had put together a plan for me at the cost of about $500 to rebuild the Bullseye turbo. I just have lost interest in the project. I will forward you over the necessary information at your request for that rebuild. The Talon does have a rebuilt title. I had the vehicle thoroughly checked and there was no evidence of frame repair on the car. I have a carfax available as well. Please know this is a no power steering, no air conditioning vehicle. The vehicle has had a lot of work done and will be broken down below: The Good: Rebuilt 4G63 includes Eagle Rods, Manley Pistons, ACL Main and Rod Bearings, ARP Main Studs, STM Balance Shaft Delete, New Water Pump and Timing Equipment, Kigly HLA Pressure Regulator, Machined Head, 1mm oversized Supertech Valves and Retainers, APR Head Studs GSC Serries 2 Camshafts. Less than 200 miles on build. Refreshed Transmission by WhiteShed (per the person I acquired the transmission from) with Clutch Masters FX400 6 Puck Clutch Kit Upgraded Air/Fuel/Injection/Tuning System includes FIC 1220 Injectors, Walbro 455 fuel pump, Aerotech Fuel Pressure Regulator, Halman Manual Boost Controller, AEM Wideband AFR Gauge, ECM Link V3, 3 Bar Speed Density Kit. Bullseye T04B V-Trim Turbo (needs rebuilt) Tuned for the Bullseye turbo, and E85. Currently has a Rev9 Big Wheel 20G. Upgraded Suspension/Chassis/Wheels and Tires includes KYB Adjustable Struts, Megan Racing Lowering Springs, Enkei RPF1 17x8 35mm offset with 245/40/17 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, less than 500 miles on the wheels and tires. Upgraded exhaust includes Tubular Exhaust Manifold with DSM flange, 3” HKS Exhaust The underbody on this car is clean. Needs work: Vehicle was tuned for the flow rate on the Bullseye turbo that needs rebuild. Putting the Rev9 Big Wheel 20G, the vehicle is running lean at idle. It will perform much better with the Bullsye rebuilt, reinstalled and then the tune is good to go. Justin Whitesell had stated he could rebuild the Bullseye turbo for $500 with a quick spooling compressor wheel. The vehicle has not had an alignment since the suspension components were replaced. Will need an alignment. The rear spoiler is loose with broken clips. I have the new clips, just haven’t installed them. Vehicle can be driven home, but with lean AFR readings I would recommend driving the car cautiously if you decide to drive home versus trailer. Notable items: The paint is a disaster. No talking around it. Vehicle needs paintless dent repair. Needs paint. Probably needs a new hood. The interior needs love. I have factory matching seats in my basement, I just hadn’t had the time to swap fabrics on. The audio system currently only has 2 speakers working. I have a full audio system ready for the car that I was going to sell separately, but we can talk about a price to include it with the car. The Extras: I have 2 extra heads, one needs machining, the other is missing a cam cap so it might only be worth scrap. I have OEM wheels. I have a bunch of miscellaneous parts. All of it comes with the car. I am available to show the vehicle Monday from 6p-9p, Tuesday from 7a to 9p, Thursday from 7a to 11a, Saturday from 8p to 10p and Sunday from 9a to 7p.
