Description
This is a beautiful collective lamp that dates back to the period from 1970 with enameled florals in peach, blue, green, and yellow on a creamy background; signs of contemporary exported products. It is entirely Hand Painted in a Famille Rose Pattern with Moriage Technique. The top is mahogany, as is the Ming style base. The brass finial is a classical Chinese symbol that means longevity, and it gives that chinoiserie flair. The lamp is 19.5” to the base of the socket. The porcelain and mahogany are in great condition. The brass stem and harp show slight patina. Add a beautiful shade, and you have a statement piece.
