Populo Sport Electric Bike

Selling our Populo Sport Electric Bike. This originally sold for $1000, but we bought it off the original owner about two years ago for $450. He had said that the battery would occasionally cut out and that it was a loose connection inside the battery pack. Worked well for our test drive, so we went ahead and purchased it. My son used it a handful of times since we bought it to go to his friends house a couple of streets away, but last time he used it, it wouldn’t turn on. I assume that connection in the battery pack has disconnected. He now has a drivers license on a car and doesn’t really want to ride a bike. That said, this is a very nice well built fixed wheel bike that is very easy to ride even when the bike is not turned on. You could easily remove the battery pack and just use this as a regular bike or if you’re handy with things, maybe you can fix the battery pack or buy a new one. Also includes a European style bike lock, which you can see in the photo is attached in front of the rear brake. You push a lever to slide a rod through the rear wheel to lock it. Extremely convenient compared to a big clumsy cable lock. And includes two sets of keys for both the lock and the battery. Selling for $150 to give my son a little spending money. If you’re handy with stuff and can fix this, this is a hell of a deal. If you can’t fix it, it’s still a great bike. Feel free to come check it out.
