**SALE PENDING** With a heavy heart I'm selling the Rusty Duck. She's a 1994 2.5L Jeep Wrangler YJ with a TON of character (and rust) that **NEEDS A CLUTCH**. My mechanic gave me an astronomical amount for a quote and I can't afford it, so I'm hoping there's somebody out there that can fix the clutch themselves or have a mechanic friend do it for not too much. I'm the 2nd owner of the Jeep and have been driving it daily for 20 years. She's been driven cross-country from Chicago (that's where the rust is from). The 4 cylinder engine is a strong runner and she's passed the smog ever since I had a California catalytic converter put on. I've kept up with maintenance and regular oil changes. This past summer she got a new fuel pump, fuel tank, and fuel tank skid plate. I've been driving her on the west coast since 2008 with a bikini top only. The soft top and doors have been stored in my garage. The Rusty Duck comes with a duck head hood ornament, a Quadratec bikini top, a complete Bestop soft top, half steel doors, a Tuffy lock box, rear speaker boxes, a trunk cargo enclosure, and an amazing patina that turns heads and gets all the "COOL JEEP!" comments. I also installed boat running lights (port, starboard, & stern) and a couple of boat cleats in the back that are great for tying things down. The CD player stopped working and my Creedence Clearwater Revival greatest hits is stuck in there, so it's going with the Jeep too. Again, she needs a clutch, so I can't get her smogged, but I think the DMV allows an exemption if the buyer is aware of the condition and agrees to an as is sale. I'm really hoping she goes to a good home. The Rusty Duck must live on! 🦆
