I have 11 books documenting the history of DKG society dating back to 1929 when they were established , the books include specifically dated transactions , contributions , budgets , signatures of secretaries , presidents . Names of members , members represent at specific meetings , numbered meetings with dates and times . Rare specific information on this organization which started right here in Texas . These books were items I recovered from a junk removal job (they would have been thrown away ) but are clearly historically valuable , multiple books have a note written from “Maybell McDaniel” the president of delta chapter 1(contact info removed) that “this volume was a gift” . The first president delta kappa gamma , “Eula Lee Carter” and the recording secretary “ Agnes Edens” is printed clear . The books clearly speak of meeting’s dating back to the first meeting , and all the names of who took “the oath of allegiance to delta kappa gamma . The fourth meeting “ miss bookman” (chairman of the membership committee) gave her report asking if the “chapter” were growing too fast , it was decided at this time the voting and names must be considered as secrets of the chapter . The voting was by secret ballot . 1(contact info removed) (2 books) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) 1(contact info removed) (1 book) I live in Fort Worth and am more than willing to drive to Dallas for you to evaluate , thank you for your time .
