Vintage CHINESE PORCELAIN FISHERMAN COUPLE FIGURINES STATUES LOT 2 HAND PAINTED 15" Amazing Vintage Chinese Porcelain Fisherman / Gardener Couple (Set of 2). These large 15" tall statues are completely handmade and hand painted with beautiful blue markings and bright gold accents. The man carries 2 fish and a jug by a shoulder yolk that are attached by bright red string plus a larger blue fish in his other hand. The woman carries various gourds and vegetables with 2 of them left un-glazed. The set of fish that the man carries are also un-glazed and only partly painted for a nice contrast to the glossy finish of the rest of the piece. Both the man and the woman have detailed floral designs painted on their jackets and realistic looking facial expressions. This vintage pair would make a gorgeous addition to your Asian inspired collection or home decor.
