I bought a Dodge 2500 from CJS Auto and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. On the way home, I got the infamous 3-ding grid heater code and limp mode — classic signs of bad injectors. Turns out they had just been resetting the codes to hide the issue. I had to replace the injectors, which was a very expensive and labor-intensive job.

A few months later, the engine started blowing oil like crazy. Piston rings were fried — major blowby. They had told me the truck had a “new motor.” Total lie. This thing was patched together just enough to sell. Either they were completely dishonest, or dangerously negligent. Either way, I wouldn’t trust them with a lawnmower, let alone a truck.

I bought a car recently from here as a commuter. The car had silicone on one of the valve cover bolts which was odd and also after driving to work for 1 week I would smell buring oil and at times a coolant smell. 1000's of dollars in parts later the car was found to have leaks everywhere from the oil pan, timing cover, coolant resovior, oil cooler, front main seal, and just to add that valve cover which had a stripped bolt from someone over tightening. There were many other issues but I don't think it's right to sell cars like that to people. Lucky for me I am mechanically inclined which save me thousands but to this day I am still working out the bugs. They are nice people there but sorry to say it's kind of a scam because the cars are not serviced or anything. Just turn off any check engine lights and send it to the lot for top dollar. The right thing on their part to do would be to help by refunding some money paid to offset some of the cost but I will see what they say. I did document everything before disassembling the old parts with video so there is no saying I did anything. It is a shame but I will be taking this further. People save good money and some are paying loans per month and cannot afford to buy a car only to be paying huge repair bills after and now loosing work and many other things. Hope you guys see this from the lot and try to make things right.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST. Prices may be great and the vehicles may look great but, IN THE LONG RUN THEY WILL BREAK. 2 days in to ownership of my pride and joy a 2008 Corvette with only 74k miles a clean title and no accidents had broken down on me just cruising going 55 mph. Now I have to wait from GM to get a quote for my vehicle from all the codes given which were 2 P0300 2 P0420 and P0068 which can face repair cost of $2500-THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. Depending on the cost and maintenance of the dealers price.

THEY DONT MAINTENANCE THE CARS OR DO ANY DIAGNOSTIC JUST CLEAR THE CODES AMD SLAP A PRICE IN THE WINDOW PLEASE BEWARE……… I went here to purchase a low priced used car that I had been wanting for a while, I get there luckily my husband went with me he looked under both my choices and they were leaking, drip drip drip. When we were approached by the salesman he asked if we needed help my husband had asked him if he looked under the cars and the guy said why would I? It’s a used car sold for cheap. My husband said you shouldn’t sell problems to people when they are there looking to spend their hard earned money and asked if he knows which one doesn’t leak then The guy said let me know when you find one that doesn’t leak and walked away. We left and I’m so thankful my husband was their cause I probably would have bought the car I wanted luckily I wasn’t scammed by these crooks make sure you look under the car for a leak better yet spend your money else where…. I found a great deal in Modesto at a place right next to Stanislaus towing on Angie.
