I have a 25 key M audio, axiom keyboard that I am the original owner of and have taken excellent care of. It is fully compatible with USB power only and I have never needed to purchase the optional DC power supply as I have not used it in a standalone fashion for MIDI I/O; I have only used it over USB for the entire time I have owned it. I will provide a USB cable, but I do not have a power supply as it was not originally sold with one at the guitar center I purchased it from brand new. This is a highly versatile yet compact tool for the home studio engineer or aspiring artist it includes a number of features such as DAW controls (fully mappable), pitch and expression wheels, and a display for information values. This is a wonderful and versatile tool because it is compatible natively with legacy systems back to Windows XP OR be compatible with the newest systems and integrate flawlessly to any home studio.
