Tanaka 300 3hp Outboard Boat Motor

Hasn't been used in about 20 years. This motor was a blast on our canoe and was used all over Washington in fresh and salt water. It is a 2 stroke and made plenty of power. The good: Prop turns freely Throttle seems to rotate freely Engine turns over when pulling the cord, sputtered a bit but haven't ran it The bad: Black plastic piece cracked at air intake, see pictures. Some surface rust and corrosion but nothing too bad. Fuel lines, spark plug, and spark plug cable should be replaced. Small amount of residual fuel/oil mixture left in tank should be cleaned out. Give it a tune up, a bit of elbow grease, cleaning, and you could have an excellent vintage outboard motor.
