Up for sale is my Hiwatt that I’ve owned since 2016. It’s been gigged on and shows signs of wear but has taken everything I’ve thrown at it and more. If you know the Hiwatt sound then you know what you can expect. This series of Hiwatt boasts two different channels and one input, though I mostly use this amp through only the clean channel (for the true head tone that I adore), and then use my pedals to create the distortion/overdriven tone that I want from it. The drive channel on it unfortunately results in a large drop in clarity and volume, which is the downside to one of these guys, but if you just love the original Hiwatt tone, you can stay clean and model whatever sound you want on the base clean channel. Recently serviced and a small modification of a patch cable that keeps the amp on clean (put in the foot switch slot and easily removable like any 1/4” cable) from Shake Shack and then given a deep dive service from Third Coast Guitars and Amps, this amp is ready plug and play at any gig you’re bringing it to. $1200 OBO or trade + cash.
