2001 Audi TT

*Pending Sale* Open to offers 2001 Audi TT, 225 hp, 6 speed manual, Lake Silver Metallic w/ black leather interior. I bought this car 2 years ago to fix it up and have a fun car for summer. It was in rough shape when I got it, but I spent a lot of time (and $$$) fixing it up to get it where it is today. I’m a bit of an Audi enthusiast so I saw it as my mission to get this roadster back into decent shape. I’ve pulled seats, other interior bits and even body panels to get this car looking in good condition. I’m in no rush to sell the car, I’m just trying to make space for whatever the next project is. Hopefully this car winds up in the hands of another enthusiast that will take good care of it. Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape now, it runs and drives great. It does all of the things you’d expect and want a convertible to do. Cosmetically, there’s curb rash on some of the wheels and some minor cracks and scratches on the front bumper but there’s no major dents or damage to any of the body panels. The interior is in excellent shape. No tears or rips in the door panels or seats. Some quirky/rare things about the car: It has factory GPS installed…obviously it’s archaic and obsolete but it’s funny and pretty rare. It has the tonneau cover for the roof! (that alone is rare and worth a few hundred bucks). Here’s some history and all of the recent maintenance I’ve done on the car: Instrument Cluster/Odometer was replaced when the car had ~50k miles I bought the car 2 years ago with about ~113k miles, it now has ~118k miles. CarFax report available upon request At ~114k miles I did the following maintenance and repairs: Instrument cluster screen replaced (now all pixels work and you can read everything on the screen) New oil pump and oil pickup tube New oil pressure switch New clutch switch New brake pads and rotors Flush and refill brake fluid New shifter bushings Installed Diesel Geek short shifter (big improvement over the old stock shifter) New timing belt New water pump New thermostat New power steering pump New power steering pressure supply line New spark plugs and TFSI ignition coils Replaced the body control module (so now the powered convertible top goes up and down) Replaced the windshield washer fluid reservoir (no longer leaks) Replaced airbag control module New wind deflector drive belt (so now it actually goes up and down) New turn signal stalk New windshield wiper blades New H&R springs and Bilstein dampers New outer tie rod ends New sway bar end links Haldex fluid and filter changed (you can have the special wrench for the haldex filter) Rear differential oil changed Transmission oil changed New adjustable rear lower control arms New front right CV axle 4 wheel alignment after all the suspension work New battery
