Description

The Wallace Baroque tea and coffee service pieces are prized for their ornate, heavily sculpted floral scrollwork and distinctive matching scrolled feet. Originally introduced in 1941 by Wallace Silversmiths, a historic New England firm founded in Connecticut in 1835, this pattern became one of the brand's most celebrated and recognizable designs. While Wallace is highly famous for its solid sterling silver flatware, hollowware sets like this classic coffee and teapot were heavily produced in premium silver-plate, allowing households to bring grand, old-world European elegance onto their dining tables. Additional information: - Comparable Price: $475 eBay (for a 5-pc) - Dimensions: tray is 17.75" W x 28" L, coffeepot is 5.50" W x 11.50" H x 10.25" L, teapot is 5.50" W x 10" H x 9.75" L - Condition: Good. The silver-plate is tarnished, and there are scratches and other wear consistent with age and use. However, the set remains overall in good condition.
