Description

Lynnwood, WA pickup only - will not ship. No trades. These are collectors items and you won't find them for sale very often. And when you do, it likely won't be a set of three. Tom Alexander was the owner/operator of Volcano Percussion and he made some of the finest drums in existence. He passed away in 2012. These drums look and sound INCREDIBLE. The flames look about as much like fire as anything can look without actually being fire. It's not a cheesy-looking flame decal or something like that. It's an absolutely amazing airbrushing. They are in like new condition except for a couple of small, barely perceptible nicks. There are also a couple of very small imperfections in the finish. Open to offers, but please, no tire kickers or low-ballers - only serious inquiries. I'm not selling these out of desperation or financial need. I'm moving, I don't play them very much these days, and I'd rather not haul them across the country. I'd much rather see them go to a good home where they'll get played. Tom used Remo hardware on this series, which allowed me to add a set of Remo synthetic skins. This was nice when I was practicing regularly because I could leave them tuned & ready to go. Then, if I ever wanted a warmer sound for a playing situation, I could just put the original steer-skin heads back on. Both heads are shown in the photos. Thanks for looking!
