1975 Fender Stratocaster

Look at all pictures and read description before you purchase or submit an offer. This is an awesome guitar. It is a 1976 strat that started out life as a natural finish and black pickguard guitar. It plays very well with low action and has a fresh setup and pot install from a well known shop in LA. Here are some details: Body was refinished by the famous Pat Wilkins in one of his custom candy apple red finishes that he uses on the guitars he builds. It is absolutely beautiful. I own a couple of Pats refinished guitars and his stuff is the best and holds up over time! All new fender brand plastic pickguard, back plate, pickup covers, knobs and switch tips. New plastics with new fender brand screws. Everything is original except nut, tuners, items listed above, and bridge pickup. A Seymour Duncan bridge was installed and a new push pull pot to get some different sounds. A diagram showing those selections comes in the case. This work was done by a professional luthier as well as a full setup. The neck was not refinished. Frets stil have life in them. There are tiny scratches or scuffs on neck but no major dings in the playing areas. The neck is in good condition considering it’s age. The case is pretty beat up but I think it’s original. It has a tear on the outside covered by tape, and the emblem is partially broken but the case hinges and latches work. Please ask all questions before you buy. I ship quickly and safely.
