*UPDATE: I see we have a few purists in our neighborhood. OK - I am now selling the bench separate from the cabinet and lowering the price of this cabinet to $250 or best offer. 1892 Singer treadle - over 130 years old and runs very well. Has shuttle and bobbins, new bobbin winder tire and replacement back slide plate. I believe this is a late VS3 or might be early 28. I have a 28 and some parts didn't fit in this machine. So I'm stating it's a VS3. The ISMACS database states it's year as 1892 and the model description is blank. It has a lot of attachments, including underbraider, pin tucker, ruffler, back peg (to lean machine back) and key for the coffin-top lid. Takes a standard 15x1 needle. Sorry the "coasters" under the feet of the treadle are not part of the purchase. These were made by my husband and I need to keep them in case I buy another machine. And as any collector knows, this won't be my last machine. She has been tuned up by the best- Auburn Sew and Vac. Joseph and his son, Alex, do good work. I have to sell it to make room in my bedroom. I will include the IKEA lamp if you want it. I like using these lamps. I can direct light right at the needle and feed dogs. Looking for a more "modern treadle"?
