This futon is about 4 years old and was bought new. It has moved with me to many homes but my new apt is too small for the whole setup. The futon is a double mattress size that comes with a long ottoman to be put at the end to complete the mattress when it is extended. Very sturdy wood frame with no scratches. Futon cover just needs to be dry cleaned or you can put your own on it. When folded, the dimensions for the couch is 59" length X 41" width X 36" height.
