She was a great host and honest about everything from start to finish. She took the time to share all of my options that worked best for me and her team. I've owned a couple of VWs and have always taken them here for recalls or warranty work. Last year, the springs on both of my roof grab handles in the rear passenger area of my '19 GTI broke and stopped retracting, due to a design flaw well known on VW enthusiast forums. I ordered the new handles online (the only solution is to replace them completely), but I was unable to remove the broken handles without a special "VW roof grab handle release tool."

So I stopped by Covina VW, made an appointment to handle 3 open recall items on the GTI, and asked while I was there if a tech could pop the broken handles out or lend me the tool so I could do it myself in the parking lot. The service advisor I spoke to said that was something they would have to charge for and that it would cost me $100. I decided to pass. I drove home, watched a few instructional videos on YouTube, and was able to improvise with 2 small screwdrivers and remove the handles myself in about 5 minutes each. It would have taken me less than a minute per side if I could have borrowed the proper release tool. So Covina VW had insisted on charging me $100 for what would have been a literal 2 minute job or just loaning me the tool for 5 minutes to do it myself. So, come to Covina VW if you don't mind getting overcharged for the smallest of jobs.

The next day, I cancelled my appointment at Covina VW for the recall work and scheduled an appointment at a different VW dealership. I'll just drive a little farther to the other dealership for future repairs/maintenance.

Best experience at a dealer I’ve ever had. I had an appointment with Noah but I was greeted by a saleswoman and she walked me all the way to Noah’s desk instead of brushing me off. Noah was very helpful and friendly and worked hard to make a deal with me along with his sales manager. Even the finance manager, Ali, was amazing. In the end we were able to make a deal and I drove off with the car I wanted. 10/10

Full experience through Covina Volkswagen was excellent. I was unsure if I was fully ready to commit to a new car but after weighing the pros/cons including current used car prices, I decided to go ahead with purchasing my first new car, a 2025 Jetta Sport. Every single person that I dealt with from Boyd my initial salesman, to Nour the sales manager, and Ali in financing were patient and kind during all of my indecisiveness (Thank you all). I did not feel like I was being pushed or persuaded at any time, they layed out all info and gave me the choice to opt out of the extras that I didn't feel were necessary for me. I would definitely shop with them again. I recommend anyone to go there and check out everything they have to offer!
