This rare RC Chess set came from items belonging to retired NFL running back (& Heisman Trophy winner), Ricky Williams. It was made in France and exhibits the unique woods used by French craftsmen. As evident in style and by the knight’s design, this is a Chavet set, which along with Lardy are the most well known and loved French chess sets. The chessboard has beautiful exotic in-laid design with a gloss with is also present on the pieces. Items come with original packaging. All in all, it’s an elegant and fun chess set that can be used for play and display. It has rich history and can now be yours to own. First come, first serve. $300 or best offer.
