During WWII, the family began designing & manufacturing their own jewelry here in the US, producing the majority of it in the 50s & 60's. According to Collectors Weekly, vintage Lisner pieces have become extremely collectible as collectors are appreciating Lisner fashion jewelry for its mid-century modern appeal. The jewelry Lisner produced in the 50s & 60s is the most collectible as it looks timeless and modern, with clean, sharp edges. These pieces are gold-plated with a brushed finish, and a textured look, featuring faux pearls and rhinestones. The maple leaf motif is a particularly classic & timeless design that has been used in jewelry for many years, notable examples of the Maple Leaf Brooch in particular that have been worn by royal women since 1939. *Stamped "Lisner" Solid construction with no loose fastenings.
