About This Guitar: This Martin DC-1E was built on June 7th 1997 in the historical factory of Nazareth (Pennsylvania - USA) and has had one owner since then who has only taken it out of case for a few minutes twice since then. It is not to be confused with the cheaper 2000s version, which has a stratabond neck instead of solid rosewood, as well as sides and back. The top is solid spruce, in a polished finish, with dense, compact grain. The belly-type bridge is made of rosewood with ebony and brass pins, the fretboard is also made of rosewood with mother-of-pearl dots. It is equipped with six chrome tuners made by Grover and branded Martin and has a beautiful tortoiseshell binding.
