Description

1900 Fairbanks Special #4 Open Back Banjo in good shape for its age! Currently has a reproduction no knot tail piece, but I do have the original Fairbanks tailpiece to go with it. New gotoh geared tuners on the headstock. I did not replace the 5th tuning machine, although I do have it. No knot tailpiece and tuners were purchased from Robert Smakula, who deals in vintage instruments and who recommended these. No case. $1100. May trade towards nice F- Style mandolin.
