For sale is an awesome 1873 Seated Liberty Silver Dime. The Seated Liberty Dime was minted 1837 to 1891 until it was replaced by the Barber Dime in 1892. They minted two varieties of coins in 1873--one with Arrows and one without. This refers to an arrow that goes end to end of the date on the obverse. This is the "With Arrows & Rays" variety. Any 1873 Seated Dime is great to have, but what makes this one so top shelf is its high XF grade. You almost NEVER find Seated Dimes in this high grade because they were so heavily circulated. And like all Seated Dimes this coin is 90% silver. As you can see from the pics this coin is in really nice high grade shape, and as mentioned above it would come in at a nice XF grade. All the fine details are clear and sharp on both sides. The has a nice dark toned patina to it and every one of the tiny letters in LIBERTY on the shield on the obverse are present and sharp, which is a big thing because that is the first thing to wear down on Seated Dimes. The date and all lettering and clear and present as well. The coin has no major damage and has not been cleaned. Here is your chance to own a very special coin at a great price.
