Description

Selling a great condition pair of Magnepan MG-IIc magneplanar speakers. Much better sound than the newer "SMG" maggies. This rare "c" model has minimal wood trim for a nice clean appearance. These examples were rebuilt a few years ago with new wires as needed and new gray socks/covers. Also includes decent-condition original "tweed" covers. When these were rebuilt, the mylar films were found to be in great shape and needed no repair. Tweeter wires were replaced, and bass wires were re-glued. There is no delamination on these speakers to my knowledge. Great cosmetic condition as well, socks are immaculate. Missing one end cap behind the speaker, can't tell from the front. Come have a listen! These were great front speakers for my home theater. Selling cheap because I've acquired a new pair of Maggies and I'm moving out of San Diego. $475 OBO.
