NEVER MOUNTED-- These come with the wiring/mounting kit from BOSE. This company is best known for in-wall and in-ceiling speakers and this pair is the same speaker as their larger in-wall with a full enclosure and brackets. A larger white cabinet 2-way speaker with mounted brackets to mount on a wall or in a corner. These will make OUTSTANDING surround speakers as most are very small. The surround signal for most older Dolby surround systems had a very limited frequency response but newer ones have lower lows and higher highs. Also, these are plastic bodied and are great for remote speakers on the patio, by the pool. Mount to the wall and connect to B speakers on your receiver OR I have 15 Yamaha, Denon, Sony and more higher end receivers for 90% less than new. Add MUCH better sound to your patio than a boombox or shelf system. These have a 6.5" polypropylene woofer and dome tweeter with gold plated speaker wire terminals that are the screw-clamp type for banana plugs or wire. These were not expensive but at $45 they are less than half and about what you pay for small bookshelf speakers. A pair of wall mounts is $14 and these come with them attached. You can mount the speakers horizontal or vertical and the mounts click-adjust the direction of the speaker so you can angle them perfect. The brackets have a hole for the wire to pass through and various options for mounting.
