Description

22' 1976 Argosy by Airstream Selling my 22' 1976 Argosy, ALSO LOOKING AT TRADES, CARS, TRUCKS, 2A, WILLING TO NEGOTIATE, ASKING 9,500 OBO. If you are looking for a relatively cheap project travel trailer to make your own, keep reading. If you want something complete and/or brand new look elsewhere. Currently as it sits, the trailer itself is good to go, no issues pulling/moving it. Middle ground trailer, as it's not super long or short so its easy to maneuver. I believe its "full" weight capacity was around 5800 pounds, so it can be pulled with an SUV or a medium size pickup. Outside needs paint(or sanding/polishing), roof vent needs a cover, and some of the exterior lights need replacing. Inside is gutted 80%(walls and floor are there), besides the front table area, and a wall in the "bathroom" holding some electrical components. Good as is if you want to build on it. I do have all of the original interior pieces, walls, shelves, drawers, bedframes, but only for reference to make new parts, as the old ones are worn/warped/dried(crumbling plastic). The original heating system(minus controls), along with the plumbing and liquid storage tanks, are all there but realistically aren't needed anymore as modern tech can upgrade the trailer to modern standards(compost toilets, portable sinks, etc.). Electrical system and the outlets seems to work fine, can be plugged in to provide power to the whole trailer(generator, home outlet).
