It has been stained in a moderately distressed fashion with a topcoat of satin polyurethane followed with an application of hard furniture wax. Both items are in perfect working order. It pains me to have to sell it. I moved and neither my shop nor my home can accommodate it. The drafting table alone easily sells for 3 times the asking price.
