Excellent Mid Century Z. Raphaeli Oil Painting titled “Judean Hills” Professionally framed in a 1970’s era antique gold metallic finish 3” wide wood frame with inner 1” suede mat. The frame compliments the colors of the painting. Signed Z. Raphaeli Lower left corner, and I believe the location is signed in lower right. Measurements: 35” wide by 27” high outer dimensions, 27” wide by 19” high inside the mat area. Mat is 1” wide. About the artist: Zvi Raphaeli 1924-2005, was an Israeli Impressionist painter. A rabbi by profession, he merged religion and art deftly in his paintings. Born 1924 in Sues, Egypt, Died 2005. (Wikipedia)
