Teac X-1000R reel to reel tape recorder: This tape deck is in good cosmetic condition except for a couple of dings that are shown on the pics. It was working properly but now when you press play it goes into the rewind or fast forward mode. It might just need a good cleaning or it might need some component replacement. *Dual capstan drive *6 head play back/record system *Computer controlled system *10.5" Metal reels/ 1/4" tape *7-1/2 ips and 7" *30-34k frequency response @7 1/2 tips using a TDK EE tape *Wow and Flutter 0.03% at 7 1/2 tips Will include the metal reels that are shown in the pics. There are places in town where these vintage units can be fixed. Will include a copy of the owner's/service manuals on CD.
