I bought this car; a 2008 Mercury Milan, from Martin at Exelon, in January of 2023. It has been TURN-KEY since the day I drove it home. I've put 47k on it.

It was in a minor wreck and he showed me the Carfax before I even showed up to buy it and brought his price down for me because I was in a rough spot.

Martin was super nice and explained everything through but I don’t think they are super honest about the work they do, the black Subaru cross trek frame wasn’t fixed right along with a belt being lose when I told Martin this he said “I’ll tell you that my vehicles are mechanically sound” which is great but when your frame is off it’s gonna cost you more money down the line. Just be wary

I have been searching for a long time to find a reasonably priced Subaru Outback to replace our older Outback. But Outbacks are popular!  I finally resorted to looking at rebuilt cars (I used to rebuild wrecked cars when I was younger.) I found one listed at Exelon Auto Sales, looked it up at BidFax using the VIN of the vehicle to see how badly it was damaged and which part of the car was damaged. I was happy to see the damage seemed to be limited to the back lift gate and quarter panels. I sent a message to Martin at Exelon and he responded immediately, and in his first communication with me he included photos of the damage prior to repair. I had not asked him for those photos. That gesture made me feel I was dealing with an honest person.

Since we live in Spokane we couldn’t just drive over to Auburn and “hope” the vehicle was still for sale. Martin said he would hold it for us and we didn’t need to worry. And he kept his word.

When we arrived I was free to thoroughly check out the vehicle – I put on coveralls and crawled underneath to inspect the repairs and after driving it around for almost a half hour we agreed to purchase it.

Martin is a delightful and very friendly person with whom to do business. He assured us that if there were any issues with the car we should contact him, although living so far away we probably wouldn’t be able to utilize the services of his local network.

Driving the Outback (Premier edition) across the state back was a joy, a very comfortable car.

I highly recommend Exelon Auto for anyone looking for a well-repaired car.

These guys are awesome!! They have been true to their word and really taken care of me! I bought this 2013 Chrysler 200 with 99k miles on it for $5600 (KBB gives it an average market value of $8300!). The sales guy at Exelon (Martin) told me that if I have any issues at all, to let him know and they will take care of me. The car ran great, but then 9 days later I had the Electronic Throttle Control light come on, then the following day it came on 4x on my way to work, and the engine stalled each time. I called Martin, and he told me to bring it in and they would take a look and get it taken care of. I brought it in that evening and took it to their associated shop down the street (Mad Fab). The next day, I was told there was an air intake issue, and their electrician re-calibrated the throttle body and it seems to have taken care of the problem. I went to get the car, but when I left it did the same thing again. They told me it must need a new throttle body, which is a $500 part that I did not have to pay for, so they ordered it and told me they would install it the following business day when it arrived. After the new throttle body was installed, they said their diagnostics were still showing an air leak, so they did more exhaustive testing and discovered a hairline fracture in the intake manifold. They then ordered a new intake manifold and installed it- now she runs good as new! They ordered the parts, did all the diagnostics, and did the installations completely free, and I bought the car "As Is" without warranty! Even when I picked up the car, I was driving away and the shop guys stopped me and had me wait a sec so they could fix something with front bumper (I guess some groove wasn't lined up right, so they screwed a panel off real fast and bent/popped it into place again.. I couldn't even tell what was wrong with it, but I appreciate their attention to detail!). I can't recommend these guys enough! I got a great deal, and they took care of me even after they were under no obligation to do so. Very legit.

Loved working with Martin, excellent communication and he understood what I was looking for. Very stress free shopping experience
